The Premier Dance Studio

The Premier Dance Studio has been established since 1997

We work within the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing, which has full accreditation from the ‘QCA’ for all the general graded and vocational graded examinations. All theatre faculty grades and vocational examinations are now included on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF).

At ‘The Premier Dance Studio’ we can offer all graded and vocational examinations in all subjects, shows, pantomimes, competitions and various dance displays. For the young dancer we offer an introduction to dance which comprises of many confidence building activities, skipping, galloping, enacting stories through dance and singing to name but a few.  When the children then reach the age of 4 they can then choose which subjects they would like to take and start work on the syllabi of their chosen subject.

All teachers at ‘The Premier Dance Studio’ are I.S.T.D. or R.A.D. qualified and have under gone intensive training for many years to gain their qualifications. They have vast knowledge in:

Anatomy, child psychology, child development, teaching methodology, analysis of movement, music, health & safety/first aid and syllabus & knowledge of vocabulary. All teachers are also fully CRB checked.

With our knowledge acquired in these areas we are able to spot many childhood problems such as scoliosis (curvature of the spine) dyslexia, bad posture e.t.c thus enabling the children to get the vital help needed as early as possible.
